Condolences
On behalf of all of us at the Office for the Aging we wish to extend our condolences to the family of Howard. We have known Howard for a long time here at the Office for the Aging (OFA). His enthusiasm for staying active and involved in his community as a senior citizen has always been a model for us at OFA. Howard built up the AARP Tax Counseling service for seniors and low-income families. This service has remained a vital benefit to many throughout the years, all due to Howard's initiative. He remained active in the tax program through the end. For many years, Howard was an Advisory Board member, providing vital input on senior services and programs that our agency operates and supports. Howard set a fine example of one who enjoyed life to its fullest, pursuing all his favorite hobbies, like golf, model trains and even skiing into his seventies. He is an example to all of us in what we strive for as we age. We always enjoyed Howard's wit and friendly manner, he will be sorely missed. Our sympathy to all of you. -friends of Howard at OFA
