I'm so sorry for your loss. I still remember the day Johnny and I took little John to see her. Doris wanted to keep him and granny said no no give him back. Doris and I talked on the phone a lot the past few years. I miss her so much. Rest in peace,

Rest in Heavenly Peace Doris (and of courseJon, Mayor of Charlotteville). John and Doris were good people; the best, true and faithful. I love them both so. Often a surrogate mom to me and great friend to my own mom, Margaret. I never met anyone who didn't love her. I was home last summer and was able to spend some great quality time with Doris (with my sister Jackie and Ida Shafer). She looked great and we had a wonderful couple of visits. A blessing indeed. My deepest condolences to Jill, Jodi and Paula and all her big family. LOVE
