My father John N. Muscarello and Dennis go way back to the 1950's where they worked together as bricklayers, my grandfather John F Muscarello was 'the boss/Foreman'. My family was always very close with Dennis and his girls Denise, Doreen and Diane, we grew up with them both on Long Island and upstate, Dennis and my father built their first homes in Delancey, hunted together and swapped fishing stories. I remember Dennis was always a family man who loved being home tinkering around with his projects. My brother John and I treasure our early years as we have great memories of 'the cabin' and the DeVita family.
My dad John died at 61 so he never got the chance to meet my son Jake, I treasure the attached photo's. We will miss you Dennis, can't imagine Barnes Hill Road without you. Our sincere condolences go out to the entire DeVita family. Until we meet again... - Lynn Muscarello
I didn't realize just how many pictures I have of dad and I! With him, it was always fun and happy. I would take a fit if he was going without me, so we were together alot.
The picture of me and dad, I was one and he was 21.
Our family bbq's were the best as in all of us in the pool, good times!
Everything my dad taught to me stuck for life like picking up other people's litter!
For anyone who truly cares about the earth, I am happy to say that my dad was one of them, it is a rarity indeed to leave the planet better than you found it!
You will be so missed, I can't imagine you not by the pond. I have many happy memories. I am sure you are surrounded by beauty and all the fish you can catch!
I will always love you, you are part of me forever, your daughter Denise
