John was a great guy to know and hang out at the river with even if the fishing sucked John always made it a good day for all. Many a fall day was spent with Johnny up in Pulaski somewhere on that river. Anyone who was there with John was having just as much fun as he was that’s why he loved hanging with us all. And you all know who you are. I think I speak for everyone who knew John that some of the most memorable moments ever had were in his presence. I will often think of him as I always do but I will definitely be thinking of my brother and my friend John the very next time I LIFT a nice salmon from the river WE all love so much.

My next LIFT will be so very bittersweet because Johnny will be there with Us but we will not be able to see him we’ll just know he’s there fishing right next to us.

So many precious memories abound of Johnny. Perhaps the most memorable times he stayed, as a child with Grandpa and Grandma Seward on the Elk Creek farm, surrounded by so many aunts and uncles. Then too are all the fishing in the Delhi river with his mom, Gisela, teaching him how relax with a fishing pole. A great baseball player in his youth, and a very talented carpenter in his adulthood. Let the loving memories sustain all of you in this time of grief and know he's safely in God's arms with Dylan and Gisela at his side. Love Aunt Percy and Uncle Ed
