Obituary of Mildred Doreen Camb
Mildred Doreen Camb,74, formerly of Bovina Center, passed away on Saturday June 18, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
Born on August 1, 1941 in Bloomville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Hitt) Burdick.
Mildred was married to Thomas G. Camb, III on June 6, 1959 in South Kortright and recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
Mildred, affectionately known as Millie or Lee, was a homemaker, and then later worked in a Pharmacy in NJ and retired as a Manager of the Delhi McDonald's. Mildred was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved everyone she came in contact with, her family was most important to her especially her 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Above all Mildred was a loving wife, devoted mother and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband; Thomas, 2 sons, Alan (Karen) and Jerry (Judy) and 1 daughter, Eileen (Spaulding); two brothers; Alden Burdick and Ford Burdick both of Bloomville, 7 grandchildren - Alan Jr., Sean, Michael, Sabrina, Krystal, Scott and Jerianna, and a great-grandson Patrick, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mildred was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Burdick and Elsie Wilson, and brothers Marion and Leonard; grandchildren Sean Camb and Krystal Spaulding.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 2-4PM and 6-8pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 131 Main Street, Delhi. A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, June 22 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3 Delview Terrace N, Delhi. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Bloomville following the service.
