Obituary of Wayne Bradley Stewart
GOLD CANYON, ARIZONA
Wayne Bradley Stewart, 65, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, died on January 23, 2013 from a short battle with Lymphoma Cancer. He was born on July 10, 1947.
Wayne began his career in the US Marines, retiring from service after 20 years. He had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed long trips travelling with his motor home cross country. His love for airplanes developed when he was an Avionics Tech while in the Marine Corps. That love continued on while he was an Aircraft Mechanic at Airborne Express in Wilmington, Ohio. He was employed for the last 2 years in Goodyear, Arizona up till his death.
Surviving loved ones include his wife of 40 years, Mary Ann (Kosier); 2 sons, Scott (Jennifer) Valentine of Virginia, and Matthew Stewart of Arizona; 2 daughters, Carol (Jake) Downing of Arizona, and Brenda (John) Bowman of Ohio; 6 grandchildren; his mother, Iva Crone of New York; 2 sisters, Diana (Ronnie) Parton of Tennessee, and Dawn Cook of New York; One brother, Walter (Yang-Cha) Stewart of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. He was pre-deceased by a son, Michael Stewart of Columbus, Ohio; and his father, John B. Stewart of West Conesville, New York. A memorial service was held at the Mountain View Lutheran Church in Arizona. Internment followed in the National Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
