Obituary of Eva McIntosh
BOVINA CENTER — Eva A. Pindar McIntosh, 95, of Bovina Center, passed away peacefully June 26, 2013, at home.
Eva was born July 19, 1917, daughter of Frank and Emma (Carmen) Pindar in Grand Gorge.
She married Charles N. McIntosh in 1943, in Grand Gorge, and moved to Bovina Center where she resided for 70 years and they raised their family there.
Eva was a wife, housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, bookkeeper in the family businesses and friend to many people. Eva was also a founding member of the Bovina Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Eva is survived by her sister, Kay Lutz; a daughter, Carol (Richard) Brannen; sons, Chuck (Betty), Roger, Richard and Timothy (Tamara) McIntosh; 10 grandchildren, Abby, Molly, Kim, Brian, Bonnie, Ira, Shana, Erin, Brendan and Allyce; and 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles N. McIntosh, her mother and father, Frank and Emma Pindar; a brother, Schuyler Pindar; and a sister, Marie Colliton.
There will be no calling hours and services will be private. Burial will be in Bovina Cemetery, Bovina Center.
