Obituary of William E. Nesbit

South Kortright William E. Nesbitt, Jr., 58 of Oakland, California passed away on July 26, 2013 in Oakland. He was born January 25, 1955 the son of the late William E. and Lorna M. (Crandall) Nesbitt, Sr. William graduated from Walton High School and immediately entered in the United States Navy and was assigned to the cryptology section in Spain. Upon discharge from the service he worked for an insurance company in Connecticut as a data system test analyst. In 1989 he moved to Berkeley, CA where he was employed as an administrative assistant at Boalt Law School at the University of Berkeley, CA. William was a member of the Franciscan Third Order and was involved with volunteer church related activities. He is survived by two sisters, Christine Martin of Binghamton, NY and Betty Ann Post of Hobart, NY; an aunt, Alyce Nesbitt Dyer of Berkeley, CA; two cousins and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will take place at Valley View Cemetery, Rose's Brook, South Kortright, NY at the convenience of the family.
