Condolences
Dave,
We are sending our sincere respects to you and your family for the loss of your father.
Thinking of you. Jean and Tom
Our most sincere sympathy to the family. May you find comfort in each other.
Dear Dave, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. My thoughts are with you. My Dad passed away over 16 years ago and I still miss him. Love, Kathi
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Gile family at this time of loss. Ed was a boss that will be remembered for his patience, understanding, especially when we had our first child, and positive criticism which helped! God Bless you all.
It will be hard to see the seat in front of us empty when we are at church. With Sincere sympathy,
Bette & John Braymer
My condolences to Mrs. Gile, Dave,Tom, and Mary. I have to say that Ed, (your Dad) was the best employer I have ever worked for and a good guy all around. I truly missed the days when the station was in operation. He will always be remembered.
To Mrs. Gile, Mary, Tom and especially my great friend Dave and family members, I extend my sympathy and empathy. Mr. Gile was a wonderful man. His gas station was a landmark of "downtown" Delhi growing up and employed many of my friends. His and Mrs Gile's home was a frequent gathering place for the Elm Street Crew. I hope you all can get through these tough times as best as you can. May the grief of your loss be replaced, in its due time, with fond memories and the realization that his impact on your lives continues to live on in you.
I unfortunately cannot attend the service but I will be there in spirit.
Scott Thomson, Kim, Holly and my Mom
My thoughts are with all of you. I have so many great memories of Ed and all of you. So difficult to lose a loved one but remember they are always just a look upward away. Love to you Petie, Mary Dave and Tom. Lisa
Mr. Gile was a wonderful man, whom I remember fondly as I grew up in Delhi. He & Mrs. Gile were good friends to my mom on Elm Street. He was a kind man with a great heart & a warm smile. He will certainly be missed.
I was saddened to hear of Ed's passing. Having just shaken his hand in church a week ago, it didn't seem possible that he is gone. He will be missed by the entire community. My sincerest sympathies go to his family for your loss.
Dear Dave, Mary and Tom: We have given back yet another great one who was lent to us. My solace is that your dad, my dad and Bob Dickman are now once again reunited and let the carriage driving begin! What a sight that must be in heaven! We certainly have been blessed. Be strong. Love, Jackie and Larry
Our deepest sympathy to the family. May family and friends ease your loss.

I was just crushed to learn that Ed had passed. I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. Some of my best memories growing up were in your home. Our weekly games of pinochle are still some of my favorite times, and I miss playing to this day. Ed was the best pinochle partner a girl could ask for, but his encouragement, support, good nature, and kindness helped shape my life, and he and you all will always be in my heart. (Tom, please get a hold of me, I don't know how to contact you.)
Tom and family,
So sorry for your loss.
Susan Bollinger Kurkowski
My deepest condolences on your loss. I have only fond memories of Ed. Ed was such a vital part of the community and was always good for a smile, a cheerful smile, and a chuckle. Ed touched so many of our lives with his caring generous nature. He will be missed but not forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time of loss.
