I just heard this heartbreaking news. My sincere sympathy to Barbara's entire loving family. We attended W.B. High School together and reconnected on Facebook. What a proud Mom and Grandma. She was so happy sharing photos about you all and her parents. God Bless her beautiful soul. Will keep you all in my prayers.

To be honest, my heart is breaking. What helps is remembering many happy memories of time spent with you both as children and your mom.

Your mother was honestly the first person I met upon being hired as a teacher at Delaware Academy. I remember that day well, meeting her in the 4th grade wing. We 'bonded' immediately leading to a very special friendship for many years.

I know that she is in heaven living a life that We Can Only Imagine. I pray that God holds you both and your families in the palms of his hands providing you all with comfort, healing and peace.

What heals my heart is knowing that your mom and my dear friend will be looking down on me and providing me with heavenly guidance. May God bless and comfort you all!
