Obituary of Audrey Dorosky

Audrey Dorosky,83, of Stamford, NY passed away January 15, 2015. She was born November 30, 1931 in Margaretville, the daughter of Walter and Mary Cleveland More. She married Kenneth Dorosky in South Kortright, September 2, 1951. Audrey and Ken owned a dairy farm on Betty Brook Road in South Kortright for 30 years, where they raised 5 children. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Robinson Terrace Auxiliary,Stamford-Harpersfield Senior Citizens and Colonel Harper Grange #1508. Audrey enjoyed baking, playing cards, dancing, reading, visiting with friends/family and Judge Judy. She is survived by her five children and their spouses: Rosanne & Richard Sutton, Kevin and Denise Dorosky, Andy Dorosky and Greg Oliver, Brian and Gerry Dorosky and Karen and Gil Mattice. She has ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is survivied by her siblings and their spouses, Ed and Lana More, Steve and Mindy More, Elsie Eno and several nieces and nephews including special nephew Jamie More. She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Dorosky. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 10am, Tuesday, January 20,2015 at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford with Reverand Michael G. Cambi officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Stamford. Calling hours will be Monday,January 19,2015 from 4pm to 7pm at MacArthur Funeral Home, Hobart.
