Condolences
When I spoke to my sister Beverly Peterson Blaine last week she said you were not able to come up with the name of your mother's horse. It was Bessie. She would share the horse with me if she was going to be out of town if I would take care of her in return. I was more then happy to because then I could ride her as much as I wanted. Bessie was housed in Raynor's barn on the corner of River St. and Roosevelt Ave, which was convenient to me as well as her. I think she had another horse before Bessie but I don't know that name. It was a Tennessee Walking horse but did not work out well for casual riding. I also remember their dog Bob. He was a brown and white hunting dog with long legs that was mostly interested in hunting. Although she was in Bev's class in school she was also a friend to me. I am sorry for your loss.
Chris, Wayne, Dawn and family. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a special person to me growing up and I will always remember her fondly.
