Obituary of Edna F. Schwartz

Edna F. Schwartz of Stamford, New York passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Robinson Terrace, Stamford, NY. She was born March 14, 1918 in South Gilboa, New York the daughter of Samuel and Laura (Jackson) Tompkins. A lifelong area resident she worked as a machine operator for Scintilla, Sidney, New York. She enjoyed life to the fullest! Her family and friends were the most cherished in her life. Happiness was the key to longevity. She is survived by a son, Larry Schwartz; granddaughters, Madeline Hitt, Laura Thonnesen; grandsons, Brian Schwartz and Richard Darmody; great granddaughters, Kaylin Thonnesen and Amy Thonnesen and many nieces and nephews. A companion, Andy Dimatto predeceased her. Graveside Services will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, NY with Rev.Dottie Morris officiating.
