Obituary of Lynda Egan

Lynda Egan, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at A.O. Fox Memorial Nursing Home, Oneonta, NY. She was born October 23, 1944 in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Abraham and Ruth (Kent) Ginsburg. She married William J. Egan, he predeceased her April 12, 1996. She is survived by a son, William John Egan III of New York, New York and a daughter, Kira Elizabeth Egan of New York, New York. Lynda worked most of her life as a runway model which took her to live in the United Kingdom and Paris, France. She was fluent in three languages. She enthusiastically pursued her love of music and theater and was a talented actress, singer and pianist. Despite losing her speech and mobility to cancer, she consistently expressed deep love for her children with her bright smile and prideful gaze. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Oneonta, NY at 10:15 AM with Father David Mickiewicz, Celebrant. Burial will be in Claverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Those who wish to share condolences or a special memory may do so online at www.macarthurfh.com.
