Obituary of Eleanor Cowen Todd

Mrs. Eleanor Cowan Todd, 90, Bradenton, died November 18, 2015. Born in Stamford, NY she moved to Ruskin in 1963 and then to Manatee County in 1964. Eleanor was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in New York, NY. She retired from Manatee Memorial Hospital where she was a Registered Nurse after 26 years. She attended Palma Sola Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Retired Registered Nurses Club of Bradenton, Daughters of the American Revolution of New York State and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 303 of Hobart, NY. Mrs. Todd was predeceased by parents, James S. and Mary (Wissinger) Cowan; husband, Charles C. Todd; sister, Marjorie C. MacDonald. Eleanor is survived by brother, James H. Cowan of Bradenton, FL; brother-in-law, Robert B. MacDonald of Bradenton, FL; nephews, Robert J. MacDonald of Bradenton, FL, Todd C. MacDonald of Palmetto, FL and James K. Cowan of Cobleskill, NY; niece, Darcy Cowan Grogan of Huntersville, NC; 12 great nieces and nephews; 5 great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 3-5PM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes 43rd Street Chapel, Bradenton, FL Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Locust Hill Cemetery, Hobart, NY
