Obituary of Margaret VanNostrand Terry

DELHI - Margaret VanNostrand Terry, 51, a Delhi native and area resident most of her life, passed away, December 31, 2013, at O'Connor Hospital, Delhi, following an extended illness. Margaret was born April 5, 1962, in Delhi, the daughter of the late George and Sophie (Finch) VanNostrand. Attending Delaware Academy, Delhi, later graduating high school in Gainesville, GA, Margaret worked a variety of jobs during her life. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and loved to laugh, as well as spending time with her family. Surviving are her son, Chris Terry, of Walton, and daughter, Ashly Terry, of Monticello; brothers, John VanNostrand, of Delhi, and Jim and his wife, Debbie VanNostrand, of Gainesville, GA; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Margaret's life, Saturday, April 5, from 1 to 4 pm, at the Covered Bridge Guest House, 6735 Basin Clove Road, Hamden.
