Dub, Herman Menke and I used to jump out of the hay mow when we were young and very foolish. His parents were good friends to my mom and dad. I always liked him. He was always friendly and kind. I am sorry for his loss. Linda Lord Reeve

Dub was someone that I have known and respected for many, many years. We were in the same 4-h club for about ten years, were actually King and Queen at a Spring 4-H Festival so many years ago. Watching him play high school sports, he seemed to excel at everything, and was always loved by all who knew him. His passing is a terrible loss to the community, as well as his family and friends. MaryLou, Abby, and Noah, we are so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers. RIP Dub. Cindy and Kim Scanlan
I'M sorry to hear about my dear friend Bill .We spoke just a few days ago. I'm glad for that blessing. We laugh about him always trying to sell me a car. I will always remember doing scouting with Bill. Bill I will miss you. May God bless the family.
Pastor Tom Davis
"Dub" as most of his family members and friends call him was a great planner of hunting trips, Colorado, New Brunswick, Canada, Maine, and also salmon fishing trips, each and every one I ever went on was great. He enjoyed the challenge of making sure every detail was taken care of. As we get older the trips become fewer, but the memories are there forever, Rest In Peace my old friend.
Abby, so very sorry to hear of your dads passing! Thinking of you and your family during this hard time <3

To the Oliver Family. My deepest sympathy for the loss of Bill. I was a young 2Lt when I first met Bill when I was assigned to the 204th Eng Bn Co A Det 1 at Walton, NY. I will always owe Bill and all the other great NCO's I had there for keeping the unit running strong. He was just an all around good guy and always seemed to have a smile when I saw him.

So many fun times with Bill. Those hunting trips we had together were some of the best memories. Fire department annual dinners were always the best with Bill at the podium. He will be greatly missed! So sorry to you, his family, for your loss. Jim and Tracy Anderson
