It is the 3 year anniversary for my fathers death, and I remember him leaving the house for the last time like it was yesterday. A good man who loved his family, and did anything he could to help his children. I love you Dad, and I miss you.

Charles and I were cousins through our Vinson family, and online research friends. In the course seeking his advice recently, I was heartbroken to discover his passing. My family and I send our prayers of comfort to his wife and family. God Bless you all.

I was a student of his. "Charlie"as we were allowed to call him, truly made learning fun and he had a wealth of knowledge in plant science,the relationship that I was able to develop with him as a student carried on into professional life,seeing him at trade shows was an added pleasure with his classic smile and gentle friendly demeanor.
