Obituary of Arline Roe
Arline E. Roe, 92, of East Meredith, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Chestnut Park Nursing an Rehab Center, Oneonta.
Born on May 2, 1923 in Franklin, Arline was the daughter of the late Ray and Lilia (Lambert) Elderkin.
She married James E. Roe on September 23, 1939 in East Meredith, they enjoyed 57 years together until his passing in 1996.
Arline enjoyed crafts, crochetting, playing cards and listing to music, especially Alan Jackson. She also enjoyed her pugs, Mini-Me and Teacup.
Survived by her daughters: Bonnie Sines of Bainbridge, Nancy Patton of Otego, Patricia Northrop of East Meredtih and Linda Torres of Monticello; several granchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Roe; and two sons: Howard and James M. Roe.
Friends and invited to call from 7-9 on Friday, August 21 at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2PM. Burial will follow in Charlotte Valley Cemetery, West Davenport.
