Obituary of Steven H. Renfroe

Steven H. Renfroe, 73, of North Miami Beach, Florida and Delhi, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Delhi. For more than the last decade, Steven was the owner and operator of Stephens Antiques on Main Street, Delhi. Before that, Steven had a long and successful career as a real estate broker and manager in New York City. Born on October 28, 1942 in Dublin, GA, Steven was the son of the late Herbert and Addie (Smith) Renfroe. He is survived by his best friend and marital partner of over 50 years, Myron J. "Mike" Helfgott and brothers Autry, Mark and Ricky Renfroe, and sister Linda. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Rodney. Funeral services will be private. Steven enjoyed Broadway theater, classical music and literature. Being a southern gentleman at his core, Steven especially loved the southern novelists and playwrights. Most of all, he loved people and his cats, sharing his life with theirs and always offering, if needed a helping hand.
