Obituary of Alfred Covert Hamilton

Alfred Covert Hamilton Jr., born April 24, 1927, passed away on Friday, November 18th, 2016 surrounded by those who loved him dearly . His best friend and loving wife Wanda Wolfe Hamilton as well as his thirty children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survive him. Al Hamilton grew up in Upstate New York and was a World War II veteran. After serving his country he went on to get his degree at Cornell University majoring in Dairy Science. He put his degree to work and spent over 40 years in the dairy business with his last career stop at Southern Dairies in Somerset, KY - a town he ultimately called home. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Woodland Cemetery, Meredith Street, Delhi.
