Obituary of Robert Paul Hunt

Robert Paul Hunt was born on January 6, 1966 in Johnson City New York to parents Robert and Beverly Hunt. Our family moved to Stamford NY in 1973 and Robert graduated from Stamford Central School in June 1982.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Cobleskill. In 1999 Robert married Jackie Fresquez in Colorado. Robert joined the Furniture Row team, based in Colorado almost 20 years ago. Robert moved to several states for the company including Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Wyoming, Ohio, Wisconsin and finally, Erie, PA. Robert was passionate about his job at Furniture Row and the team with which he worked.

He loved NASCAR races and he attended often with his brothers. In November, Robert became ill and in early December returned to Stamford, he was subsequently transported to Albany Medical Center where he passed away on January 13, 2025 a week after his 59th birthday.

Robert is survived by his brothers: Richard and David of Stamford, John and his wife Marcie, of Westminster CO; his nieces: Krista, Kara, Danielle and Jennifer; as well as Jackie's children and family.

Robert was predeceased by his wife: Jackie; his parents; grandparents on both sides of the family and aunts and uncles except for uncle Bill Hunt of Florida; and Aunt Alyce of Maryland.  He is also survived by several cousins and their families.
