Anita, Anita, as I would say upon seeing her. She was a Rock. Always there for anyone. Compassionate and a person of reality, and directness, She would say it how it was. For this, people and patients trusted and much appreciated her advice. I worked many years with her and she always, intuitively knew what was needed or to be done next. Anita was as smooth under pressure as she was in a more relaxed mode. She was such a hard worker, as a result of her early days growing up, and faithful to the tee, assuming many positions with great competency. I never remember her missing work. She certainly made my day and work easier and more enjoyable. Her sense of humor uplifted those around her when the time was right. She was a very special person to me and many others.
We talked many times through the years since retirement, reminiscing on the past, with an uplifting feeling upon hanging up.
She is missed and my condolences to Grace and the rest of her extended family. Just know she is loved and made a huge difference in many people's lives.
Love you Anita and godspeed. We will meet again.
