DEAR BARBARA , MICHELE AND FAMILY I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS . MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY O YOUR FAMILY.I WILL KEEP DON IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS AND LIGHT A CANDLE FOR HIM. MAY HE REST IN PEACE. JOE SHERLOCK
My condolences to the family. Many years ago I was the Hobert fire queen and Don was the fire chief. Such a sweet man with a smile and a joke. He was so kind to me. A memory for long ago.
My deepest condolences to the family of Don Ackerley. I grew up with the Ackerley family being, not only neighbors, but "family" to the Proudman family too. May your treasured memories of him bring comfort in this difficult time.
My sincere condolences to Barb and all the family and friends of Don. Whenever we met, Don always had a joke of the day to tell. He was a great guy who will be missed by many people.
It always bought a smile to my face whenever I saw Don. We would exchange pleasantries and then he would always have a joke. Simple, corny jokes that he could tell with the straightest of face. They never failed to brighten the day. He was a good man and will be missed by all. My condolences to Barb and the girls.
Many, many good times. I knew Don as a co-worker and a friend. He always made you laugh and smile. Good times had at pig roast. Always enjoyed going to Don and Barbs for fun times. Barb always sent us home with something she canned. It was delicious. He will be missed. We will never forget the joy he brought to our life's.
