Condolences
Lois and Family,
John and I had a special bond developed many years ago at SUNY Delhi. For one year he and I were the team that administered the Office of Academic Affairs. We were a good team that did excellent work for the school. John's role was to support the vice president's office in any way necessary. He did that and much more though that was never properly appreciated or recognized. Some years ago on a Delhi visit, I had the opportunity to thank him again. The experience we shared has always been a special memory for me.
Sharon and I send our most sincere condolences.
Keep safe and well.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of John, beloved brother to Eric. I know there is nothing to ease the pain of his passing. John clearly meant so much to Chelsea and Scott, as well as to the rest of your family. We will cherish the wonderful memories from the wedding this past September and remember his kindness and warm spirit and will always wish we had more time to get to know him. Though he is no longer with you, it seems like the impact he had on all of your lives will never be forgotten. Our hearts go out to Eric and Claudia, to his wife and children, and to all who knew and loved John during this profoundly difficult time.
Sincerely,
Joanne and Scott Eskew
My condolences to Lois and the family on John’s death. I was surprised and saddened by the news. I knew John during my years working at Delhi College. Although we spent many times together in&around the college events and with faculty and staff, I am surprised to realize how little I knew of John’s life now that I’ve read his obit. He contributed much to family, friends, the college and the country. He left a legacy of good deeds, and shall not be forgotten.
I spent many years at the college as a volunteer with the Foundation, which John ran competently and with great compassion for the needs of the students, He was always ready to jump in to help someone,
Lois, Words can be so difficult at a time like this. I enjoyed so many wonderful times with John, MULDER, as I affectionately called him, at all the Chamber golf tournaments. He was the only one out of that group who actually had any form of composure. He will be sorely missed by so very many. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
John was one of my first friends I made here in Delhi nearly 50 years ago. He and Lois will always be set in my heart as the best of friends too. Rest in Peace John.
We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have memories of meetings at the college as well as the golf course. May your memories help you during this difficult time. RIP. Pete and Verna

My condolences to Lois and all family and friends of John. In my experience John added a positive note wherever he was involved. He was " tops in my book " and will be missed by very many people in the community and county.
I am saddened to read of John’s passing. My thoughts are with Lois and her family. May your memories help heal your loss.
I too lost my soul mate recently, and have learned to take one day at a time when you feel half of you is missing.
With sincere condolences.

John was my first boss at SUNY Delhi, when he was Director of the College Foundation. I always appreciated his gentle manner, his kindness and his humor. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who loved him. My condolences to Lois and the rest of John's family.
We are so sorry for your loss. John was an amazing man. I always loved running into him in town or at various functions. My last conversation with him was at Seth's birthday party. We talked for quite a while and had some laughs. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
To Lois and your entire family. I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. John was special in so many ways. His service to his country and his community was remarkable. But his love for his family and friends is to be treasured by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. May the support you receive from each other and from all of us who know and love you, help you to heal during this difficult time.
