Heinz is survived by his wife Holly; Holly’s children: Pat Noonan and family and Carlye Deysenroth and family; Heinz’s children: Angel Morgan and family and Michel Bernecker and family; his siblings: Christa(Charlie) Schafer, Susie (Russ Rowlands) Pickens, Ralf (Tim Wentworth) Bernecker and Elsa (Ron) Schmitz; his nephews: John Schafer, Michael Schafer, Brian Schmitz and Mike Ressel; along with his nieces: Nicole Evans, Raisa Johnson and Cassidy Pickens and their families; and Dave VanValkenburg who was like a son to Heinz.
They say don’t cry for me but remember me with love and smiles as life on earth is never counted by the breaths we take but the love and goodness we share. Heinz is free now, mowing a path in heaven.
In lieu of flowers we ask you to take a moment to remember what life is all about and share a kind word with one another.
Contributions in memory of Heinz can be made to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society, PO Box 88, Delhi, NY 13753, as he truly loved animals.
A celebration of Heinz's life will be held at 11AM on Satruday, June 15, 2024 at the Bovina Community Hall, 1866 County Highway 6, Bovina Center, NY 13740.
