I can still remember my mom working with her at the Ben Franklin in Stamford. Also her teaching Sunday school oh so many happy memories. All the times I would hang out the house after church

Dear Friends,

Ardith was a strong and special woman. I wanted to share this memory.

Ardith often shared time with my mom, Elsie Oppenheimer. She'd stop by her house on Roosevelt Avenue in Stamford where they would "gossip" and have cake and Elsie's very strong coffee. Mom would especially like going to lunch with Ardith since she didn't drive and Ardith did.

When my mom had to go into the nursing home at Robinson Terrace, Ardith would still come by and visit just as she did so many times before, sitting, talking and holding mom's hand.

Ardith was a compassionate, loving friend .

I imagine as Ardith entered the presence of the Lord, He welcomed her with the words, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant,’ affirming her lifetime of devotion and the love she shared with others.

Ardith’s memory and our shared stories will always hold a special place in my heart. Her impact on my life fills me with gratitude for the love and wisdom she brought. As we honor her legacy, may her spirit continue to inspire us all. Sending my deepest sympathies to the Hamm family during this time of loss.

Dear Darlene, Laureen, Allison,Stewart and families: I, (we), are very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a good woman, wife, and strong mother. She was a very loving, and praying woman, who always stood firm on her beliefs. And, I believe, that it was her prayers, at least in part, if not fully , that got me saved, and reserved a place for me in Heaven, where I'll hopefully get to thank her and Ken personally.
