Obituary of Bruce H. Mason

Bruce H. Mason, 72, of Delhi, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, February 5, 2024.

Born on September 8, 1951 in Sidney, Bruce was the son of the late Harold and Ruth Mason.

He worked for several years as a bus driver for the Delaware County ARC in Hamden.

Bruce enjoyed collecting anything John Deere. He enjoyed collecting, restoring, and pulling antique garden tractors.  He liked trains, NASCAR and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.  However, his greatest passion was for farming and Bruce had a great love for his family.

He is survived by his children: Tina (Mark) Pearson of Davenport and Scott (Tricia) Mason of Delhi; grandchildren: Danielle (Daniel III) Hoffman of Summit, Justin Macken of Davenport, Dana Macken of Otego, Derek Mason of Delhi, Alyssa Mason of Penn Yan, Riley Mason of Stamford and Hannah Pearson of Davenport; great-grandchildren: Kaydeen, Hayley, Liliana, Daniel IV, Caysen and Damien; sister: Karen (Jon) Townsend of Delhi; and a nephew: Jared Townsend.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Delhi.  Private graveside services and burial will be at Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
