Condolences
Julie, Jason, Seth, and Kylee,
I was saddened to hear of Bill’s passing, and as someone who recently lost their father, I understand the feelings you are all experiencing. I pray that you will all find peace during this difficult time, and want you all to know that our thoughts are with your entire family. God bless!

So sorry to hear the passing of Bill. Many fond memories of playing ball and the card games at the Thomson house afterwards .He wil be missed by many.
Julie, so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Many memories for times in high school playing on teams together and the lunch time trips to The Coach Lamp. One such trip came to a head on the following day when we were stopped by police for speeding. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

Julie and kids, my condolences for your loss. So many memories, so many good times. Bill truly was a legend in a lot of ways. My thoughts and heart go out to you all. Love, Pam.
Dear Julie and family, Words do not seem adequate at a time like this. Bill was a special person and we will miss him. So many years of Card Club, different parties and barbecues, town softball, and so much more. Not to mention that he was the best mail carrier on the planet! Our dog used to wait every day on Clinton Street for Bill, because he would surely have a biscuit for her! Thanks for all the great memories Bill and we will always treasure his friendship and remember his laugh! Rest in peace friend. Love to you all, Sharon and Bill
Julie, Jason, Seth, Kylie -- I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Though life minimized the opportunities to spend time with you all for the last few decades, I keep so many memories alive of him and you. Our families were close growing up, so that started the relationship. Family/friend gatherings, watching baseball games in Andes, ramming around through the woods as kids, playing "Army" in Doig's hay mow, running Red's Oldsmobile into the ground in Afton, baseball and basketball as teammates, each of us driving a carload to the Coach Lamp during lunch period as seniors, parties at your house with the younger folks. All of those thoughts remain and will continue vividly. Whenever we met after a long period of time, we always seemed to be connected as if we were together every day. I have had better life for having spent some of it with Bill and his wonderful family.
So sorry Julie and the Thompson family for this deep sorrow! Blessings to you all!
sorry for your loss Julie and family. I don’t even know where to start. He changed my life so much when we played town team baseball together in Hamden and softball on the same team in delhi (hermits). He kept on me and made me a better player. He never knew how much he meant to me. I just wish I had kept in touch with him because he was so much a part of my life for a lot of years. He was a great man and this really breaks my heart. But I’m sure he up there getting a team together to play softball. Rest in peace my friend. I will never forget you
My condolences to the entire Thomson family. Your patriarch left a mark on all that he met and this obituary is beautifully worded and captures the essence of the man I knew growing up. For many years I was too little to play Mini-Ball in the garage, but its a very lasting memory that I have as a young boy. There were some very, very competitive games held over those years and a lot of important lessons were learned. I hope you all find peace, share much laughter, and enjoy all the timeless stories together.
