Obituary of William Paul Ross

William Paul Ross, 73 of Walton, formerly of Delhi, passed away at Albany Medical Center on Sunday, December 31, 2023.

Born on October 30, 1950, in Pheonix, AZ, William was the son of the late Rufus Ross and Agnes (Duquest) Sutton.

He was a proud veteran, serving in the US Army from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1969.

Bill worked for several years at Eklund Farm in Stamford and later he and his wife Cookie owned and operated B and C Video in Delhi until their retirement.

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping with friends and family, Bill also liked fishing.  He enjoyed watching TV and movies.

He is survived by his wife: Cookie Ross of Walton; children: Rebecca (Kam Kang) Kane of California, Alice Dudley of Treadwell, Jesse Ross of California, and Mary (Craig) Lane of Tennessee; siblings: Dennis, Gloria, Suzie and Lillian; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be announced at a later date.
