Obituary of Carol-Ann Bloise
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol-Ann J. Bloise, age 78, on September 22, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1945, in New York City to Friedrich Wilheim Stobe and Ann Marie (Ellwanger) Stobe.
Carol-Ann J. Bloise will be deeply missed by her loving family. She is survived by Nieces: Adrienne Clay and her husband Mark of Delaware, OH, Lisa Johnson and her husband Larry of Fleming Island, FL, and Vivian Agrusa and her husband Salvatore of Naples, FL, and Nephew: Richard Stobe Jr. and his wife Jodi of Jacksonville, FL, Grandnieces, Grandnephews, and her kitty, Sitamun. She was a cherished friend to many.
Carol-Ann was known for her joyous, good-hearted nature which brought smiles to all.
She shared her love for baking, beading, crocheting, hiking, and traveling the world with her friends and family. Carol-Ann recently achieved her life's dream of traveling to all seven continents. She was a member of the German-American Club of the North Catskills, The Dian Fossey Foundation, and The Metropolitan Opera. One of her favorite summertime traditions was participating in Andes Community Day and socializing with friends and visitors.
Visitation and Celebration of Life for Carol-Ann J. Bloise was be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church 565 Andes Rd Delhi, NY 13753 on Friday, September 29th, Visitation: 3 - 5PM with a service at 5PM, Reception to follow.
A funeral service was be held at Cemetery of the Holy Rood 111 Old Country Rd Westbury, NY 11590 on Saturday, September 30th Burial: 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
