Obituary of Ruth Ann Madore

Ruth Ann Madore passed away peacefully on August 11^th, 2023, at the age of 82. 

Ruth Ann was born in Stamford, New York to Maurice and Ardith (Frazee) Bellinger.  After graduating from Stamford Central School in 1958, she worked at Bathgate Hospital and then was a Laboratory Technician for many years at Community Hospital in Stamford and O’Conner Hospital in Delhi, until she retired. 

Ruth Ann will be missed by many, especially by her niece Katie.  She was an amazing friend, aunt, and sister.  One of her passions was cooking and baking.  She loved being in the kitchen and hosting get-togethers with all her friends and family.  If she was not in the kitchen, she would have been out somewhere listening to her favorite country music.  She filled many lives with so much joy, happiness, and incredible amounts of laughter.

Ruth Ann is survived by her sister, Kathy (Bellinger) Carroll; brother-in-law, Daniel Carroll; beloved niece, Katie Carroll; and sister-in-law, Nancy Lindsley. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Bellinger.

Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, August 18^th, 2023, from 12-2:00pm at MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, New York.  A burial ceremony will follow immediately after the viewing at Stamford Cemetery.
