Our sincere condolences to the Martin family, for the loss of Wendell, a true and loving patriarch of his family. Wendell was a kind and very generous man, a gentleman in every way. He and Erma were close friends with my parents, Helen and Morris Abolafia, for fifty years. My family have many happy memories of Wendell and Erma together with my parents. They all loved having dinner at the Hidden Inn, in South Kortright. It is a comfort to know that Erma and Wendell are together again, for eternity. May his memory be a blessing and he rest in peace.

He was a very wonderful man. He was always very interesting to talk with. He use to bring hay to my house for my ponies and we would have talks.

He will be greatly missed by many.

Wendall was just a great man all around. I knew him well when he was Supervisor in the town of Kortright and certainly looked up to him as a neighboring farmer. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
