Obituary of Loretta Robinson

Loretta Robinson, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2023 in Delhi, NY.

She was born on September 27, 1937 to Herbert and Carmella Gilleo in Brooklyn, NY.

Loretta had four sisters: Helen Touhy, Elizabeth “Cookie” Cook, Jean Manning and Bernie Manning.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Robinson, with whom she had nine children: Herbert (Teri) of NC, Deborah of ME, John of OH, Rose (Ted) of NY, Henry (Donna) of NY, Theresa of NY, George of NY, Joseph of NY, and Amanda of TN.

Besides her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her sisters: Helen and Cookie; her son: George; and her daughter: Theresa.

She is survived by a large family including her grandchildren: Mindy, Louis, Georgie, Cassie, Max, Kevin, Jennifer, Joe, Jordan, Richie, Bobby, Tammy, Charlie, Michael, Junior, Blake, Danny, Cassandra, George, Teddy, Heather, Shawn, Larry, Jonathan, Brentley, Michael, Amber, Ryan, Savanna, and Autumn. As well as many loved great-grandchildren.

Loretta was an avid reader and could always be found in the middle of a puzzle or bird watching. She was stubborn, strong-willed, and gave the best hugs. Always beloved, she will be remembered for her warm and comforting presence and will be missed dearly by everyone who had the privilege to know her.

Per her request there will be no calling hours or funeral service at this time.
