I am very sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. I was fortunate enough to see him and Jean on his 90th birthday. He was a great neighbor, fellow water committee member, and friend. I was fortunate enough to host and be included for many years in the morning and afternoon coffee clutches. My, how the stories would fly and sometimes the voices got loud but they always ended in laughter and would begin again the next day. It was a great pleasure to get to know him. He will be missed. My sympathy to Jean and the family. DeLancey will not be the same.
Dear Jean and family,
I am so sorry to hear of my dear cousin‘s passing. Doug was always so much fun, and I have fond memories of my times at the farm when I was a little girl. That was when they milk cows by hand and he loved to squirt me if I came near him as he was milking ! How he would laugh! I fell for it every time! He will certainly be missed by everyone who knew him.
My love to all,
Michele O’Connor VanPelt
