Dear Richard and family- As I share in the shock and sadness of Shirley's passing, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you all. I had the opportunity to share time at SKCS with her and get to know her and her dear parents while working briefly on their farm when they were building an addition on their barn during my high school years. It was truly a special time for me. I was always happy to meet and greet her at the Fair on the Square in Delhi each year while playing in the band. I know in my heart that she was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandma to you all. My prayers will be with you in the days ahead. May God's peace and comfort be with you.

We used to ride the school bus together;

what a wonderful person!

My heart is breaking for losing another old friend that I've known my whole life. Shirley was one of the kindest, sweet and loving friends I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband and family. I feel truly blessed to have had her in my life.

The South Kortright Central School Alumni Association would like to send their deepest condolences to Shirley's family and friends. Shirley was a graduating member of the SKCS Class of 1969. During her school years SKCS she was very active in many activities. May she rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing! Even though Shirley was younger than me, I always admired her and wanted to be more like her. That is a sign of a good person, spreading their goodness and kindness. We could use more people like her.

Sharing memories with her from work at the National Bank of Stamford, to school memories with our children, she was always a pleasure to be with.
