Obituary of Mary Lou Mrozik

Mary Lou Mrozik, 82, of Stamford, passed away early Thursday morning,  July 14, 2022 at AO Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

Born on April 2, 1940, in Bayonne, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Anna (Baracca) Anemone.

Mary Lou was a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill and worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Cobleskill Richmondville Central School.

She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and knitting. Mary Lou will be remembered for her wonderful cooking abilities and the tasty dishes she created.  She loved her family, and her greatest joy were her grandchildren, who affectingly referred to her as Munga.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband: Edward E. Mrozik, Sr.

She is survived by her children: Edward (Nancy) Mrozik, Jr., of West Port, NY, Mary Ann DeSantis of New Rochelle, Jody (Beate) Mrozik of Germany and Jason (Chantel) Mrozik of Stamford; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, siblings: Robbie, Diane, and Patrick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Mary Lou’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral service, she will be laid to rest with Edward Sr. at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
