Obituary of Thomas E. Strzeszewski

Thomas E. Strzeszewski, 68, of Stamford, passed away at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

Born on October 19, 1953 in Glen Cove, NY, Thomas was the son of the late Edward and Edna Strzeszewski.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1975-1980 being honorably discharged as a Sergeant.

Thomas was an Insurance Investigator for several years owning and operating his own company, Thomas Investigations. He later worked for Mallinckrodt in Hobart until his retirement.

Tom was an avid golfer and was a member of the Stamford Golf Course.  He loved nature and enjoyed watching all kinds of wildlife from his patio.

He is survived by his companion of over 30 years: Gerda Hanson of Stamford; a sister: Mary Ruth Strzeszewski of Bronx, NY; along with several friends including his golf buddies: Carl and Stefano Bagnardi and John Wisnieski.

At Thomas’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
