Thank you to the family for sharing this beautiful and touching tribute to John. I knew John through working for Delaware County Veterans Services. I always found him to be a kind and compassionate man who was so very proud of his service in the US Navy. As a WW II veteran (known as the "Greatest Generation"), he was full of stories to tell me which I was always eager to hear. Rest in peace and thank you for your service, John.

"Little John," as we affectionately called him at the Golf Course, was such a genuine and great man to be around. As a teenager working the early morning shift while John prepared the carts for the day, he would always share stories and put a smile on your face. I have many fond memories of John, my condolences to the family on the loss of a great man.
