Obituary of Brenda J. Harris

Brenda J. Harris, 61, of Jefferson, passed away at her home early Wednesday morning, September 22, 2021.

Born on October 27, 1959 in Gilboa, She was the daughter of the late Otis B. and Louise M. (Andrus) Schermerhorn.

She had worked as warehouse manager for several years at the former Interknitting in Cobleskill.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends, Brenda especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her husband: Boomer Harris of Jefferson; daughter: Jennifer Cole (Doug Webster) of Stamford; grandchildren: Michelle and Madison Webster; siblings: JoAnne (Gary) Bellinger of Oneonta and Otis B. (Maureen) Schermerhorn Jr. of Jefferson; niece and nephews: Gary (Desiree) Bellinger, Jr. of Jefferson, Theresa (Brad) Dean of Rhode Island and Cory Schermerhorn of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

At Brenda’s request there will be no funeral service or calling hours, the family will have a private celebration of life at their convenience.
