RIP Billy, ( Fingers ),... thx for getting me into my 1st snowmobile..... just the opposite of what you liked to ride !. God’s Peace to your family..

Very sorry to hear of my cousin's passing. I am reminded of the great times my brothers (Bud and Jeff) and cousins Alan and Gary had getting into mischief under Bill's expert guidance. Great memories of riding horses, hunting, and goofing around in the barn at the Fisher Road farm. I'll never forget thinking how crazy I thought Bill was, watching him dive into the Charlotte Creek near his house in Fergusonville, seeing him come out holding an angry and indignant snapping turtle he dug out of the stream bed. I Will always remember him as the ultimate "Harley guy" and outdoorsman. Rest in peace cousin.
So sorry to hear of Billy’s recent passing. Brought back memories of all us cousins growing up in Stamford. Billy,Buddy, Paul, Gary, Jeff and myself playing hide and go seek in the barn or in the woods on Fisher Road. Or the chaotic Christmas Eves at nanny’s. Sad we all lost touch as the years have gone by. Alan
Rest in peace brother u will be missed by all who knew you hope to meet angain
Grateful to have called “Fingers” my friend for over 45 years..we have many fun memories with him which will help sustain us through his loss..He was truly a gentle giant..I will always remember him with a smile and grateful our paths crossed! Ride free my friend until we all meet again…
Some of earliest memories as a child were visiting uncle fingers and Mike when the lived on 23 where the briggs shop now is, and then the prattsville trailer park. He had a turtle that I would constantly search the house for when we visited. I think I found it twice. He was always there with us during deer season, handing out little nuggets of information about hunting and fishing, we all cherished these like gold. He ways always excited to see a picture of a harvest, or a fish from the last trip. See you on those happy hunting grounds, keep the fire stoked for me.

My brother graduated from Charlotte Valley in 1970 with Bill. They were good friends and known as the tall and short of it. I remember him coming to our farm and playing basketball in the hay mow. “Good times”.
You were a great man with a big heart under all that tough exterior.. Rest Easy Fingers, You will be missed by many! ❤
Words can't begin to express the loss we feel now that you are gone. You were "family' and such a major part of our lives for over 45 years. I could write a few chapters about the "Sunshine and Fingers" shenanigans, but some things should be left as cherished memories!
I am thankful that you were Uncle Fingers to my kids and grandkids. They learned alot from you, even things that weren't child appropriate. Although you tried to hide behind that gruff exterior, it was like a magnet for the kids. They all knew what a big heart you had. Everyone needs an Uncle Fingers!!
I am sure even if we have lived in another time we would still have been "family". Always said we would have made great pioneers. Who knows, maybe we were !!!
Rest easy my brother . We send our love and I am sure that you are with our other extended biker family. -- Get that party started all over again.
Until then, Yo-Dee-Yo-Dee-Yo
I will never forget the time Uncle Fingers spent the night at my parent house as a young girl. Not knowing at the time of his prosthetic leg, he sat on my couch to show me a ‘trick’ and proceeded to take his buck knife in which he jabbed himself in the leg. Horrified at first he chuckled and then showed me in fact it wasn’t his real leg! I will never forget that day. He will deeply be missed. Rest In Peace Uncle Fingers.
