Was very saddened to learn of her passing. So many memories of my childhood were authored with her love. About ten years ago I got a little package in the mail; she had sent a card I had made her along with the 88 cents in coinage that I had given her as a child. It was a very appreciative moment and speaks volumes about her.

Such a sweet lady! Always had time to ask how you were. Many people will miss her. Love to you all.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bette's passing. Sincere condolences to our family. Bette was a first cousin to my dad and they were close friends and she was therefore my cousin and I loved her dearly.
