I can still hear and will always remember your laughter. You are missed.

The Clarence "Pete" Buel family is so saddened to hear of Fred's passing. I remember always having a good time visiting Bloomville and the Hitt family in the 1960's and 1970's. My grandmother Marion (Smith) and grandfather, Lee Buel, along with my Dad rest in the Riverside Cemetery in Bloomville. I was away from NY, other than visiting, since high school graduation in 1974 from Milford Central School. I returned to NY state last spring and was planning to try to track Fred down. I regret not having accomplished that. I thank him for his service and for ensuring veterans' flags were placed. Being a Coast Guard retiree, I'm always pleased to see the flag represented at my Dad's headstone, honoring his WWII USN service. Rest in peace sir and our condolences for all the family.
