Dear Sue and families, Chuck and I send our deepest condolences to you all. Please, know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I think I remember meeting your mom at first at my “Grandma Curtis’s” home on route 28 near Bovina, Mrs. Erma Curtis. My mom said that I called every lady with white hair “grandma”. Helen was a lady with white hair so she was my grandma, too. It was a great pleasure to have known your mom.

Susie, So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom especially after just loosing Dick so recently. It was always such a treat meeting your mom downtown when we returned home for visits. She always remembered us as one of the “twins”. Such a sweet lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Ellen was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. Even when a long period of time had passed between visits she made me feel welcome, like a long lost friend. I had the pleasure of caring for Ellen. When I first met her, it didn't take long for me to realize what a wonderful, lovely woman she was. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful family that loved her so much. I will never forget her. RIP sweet lady.

Our father and his parents met Ellen and her parents in 1926. That was the start of many wonderful friendships that last to this day.

The 6 McKeegan kids are keeping you all and of course Ellen in our thoughts and prayers. (ps,,,,Ellen & her Mom made the best molasses cookies !!)
