Obituary of Beulah C. Doroski
Beulah C. Doroski, 94, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at home on Friday evening, June 5, 2020.
Born on October 3, 1925 in Hobart, she was the daughter of the late Burr D. and Ruth A. (Young) Cole. She was a 1943 graduate of South Kortright Central School.
She was married in 1953 to Fred Doroski, who passed away in 1996.
Beulah worked for Kermit Cantwell in Hobart, assisting with the bookkeeping and clerical work. She also was a long time Election Inspector for the Town of Stamford.
She enjoyed watching NASCAR, cheering on Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and then Martin Truax, Jr. Beulah was also a loyal NY Yankee’s fan and in her free time enjoyed reading.
Besides her parents and husband, Beulah was predeceased by her son: Dennis Doroski; son-in-law: Charles Key, Jr.; and siblings: Beatrice and Ivan Cole.
She is survived by two children: Paula Key of Stamford and Robert (Jill) Doroski of South Kortright; two grandchildren: Christopher (Wendy) Key and Jason (Teresa) Key both of Strawberry Plains, TN; great-grandchildren: Amber, Brandon, Dakota and Zachary; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private graveside services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Stamford.
