Obituary of Clarence "Bud" Carpenter

Clarence “Bud” Carpenter, 92, of Delhi passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, March 9, 2020. Born on November 2, 1927, He was the son of the late Lyle and Edith (Hunt) Carpenter. He proudly severed in the United States Navy during World War II. Clarence was married to Vivian Rosa Carpenter on July 1, 1950, she passed away on February 22, 2011 Clarence was a truck driver for Delwood for many years. He also helped Vivian with the operation of Oliver’s Department Store. Bud enjoyed repairing and restoring antique clocks, he was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Mr. Carpenter also enjoyed his daily walks around the Delhi community. Besides his wife, Bud was predeceased by his son: Wayne Robert Carpenter; and three sisters: Jenna May Jones, Edna Olsowski and Nancy Ballard. He is survived by his children: William Carpenter and friend Carolyn and Deborah Stein and husband Steve; grandchildren: Jeff Stein, Kyle (Lise) Stein and Josh Stein; great-grandson: Oliver James Stein; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
