Jason. I just found out about your dad's passing. So sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers as you go through the grieving process of this loss. Your dad was a good man and remember all the good times spent with him. I always admired your dad. I dealt with him for many years on the banking side and then on the Watershed Ag Council. Bill always spoke his mind and normally would bring common sense and reason to whatever the situation was.

Barb, Jason, Carrie and families,
I have many fond memories of Bill, growing up, as a neighbor and always being a part of Hobart. He would always have a smile on his face, and a “Hey Johnny”, when I would see him! Bill will always be remembered. Please accept our sympathy.
RIP Billard

So very sad to hear this! He was an amazing man!! He taught me so very much in my younger years. Since we lived next door, I was always down at the farm after school, The first person to really teach me about horses and riding, having faith and patience all the while encouraging me in every way. From caring for the horses to taking me along on wagon rides with throught bloomville and east meridith. He had a love for halflingers. He had 2 appaloosa horses, one for each of his children, sprit and cricket. Cricket was the very first horse I got to ride on, all by myself, as he put her on me for the first time, he told me to just walk her around the back yard, but... me being me, fearless and in love with horses, I immediately took off on a trot, which pleased but scared him at the same time. That's when he taught me patience around horses, slow amd steady wins the race. From there on, I was hooked.
Mr. Coleman, you are missed by so many, my condolences are with the family. RIP to a great man and a great mentor!!
Very sorry to hear of Bill's death. We had many good years as fellow bankers and. Rotarians. I can't make the memorial services. In rehab following surgery in Florida, but my thoughts will be with the community as Bill's life is celebrated.
My sympathy to the family. Bill was a great asset to the farming community. Most recently when I needed a part for my old Farmall, Bill got me headed in the right direction.
I always loved horses and Bill took me up to the pasture to "meet" Abby, his sweet, gentle beloved Belgian. I saw the bond they shared when she greeted Bill--lovingly nuzzling him and showed how happy she was to see her person. Bill was a kind man who will be remembered as a friend to all- people and other of God's creatures.
Bill was a great encouragement to me when I moved here in 1977. Always a smile and handshake. God bless his memory to the family and friends.
I will always remember when Bill was the president of the Hobart Bank and I would call and say Uncle Bill i need some money! He would say well come on over and sign your life away! But I will always remember him as a good friend and how he will be missed in the Village of Hobart by all! My thoughts and deepest prayers go out to his family! And all His Hobart Family will miss him deeply! RIP Bill
Bill was a mentor and friend to so many. I am so grateful for his friendship and guidance. My heartfelt sympathy to his family. He made a difference.
I always think of Mr. Coleman and smile. Such wonderful memories of a good man. May your memories bring you peace and love.
So sorry for your Loss

Our deepest condolences to the Coleman family on the loss of Bill...Often Bill would let my husband "borrow" a tractor and wagon to drive in a local parade. I worked at The Hearthstone in Hobart as the activity director and Bill would lend us the tractor & wagon to carry some of our residents in the parade. My husband loved Bill's tractor's as it reminded him of growing up on the farm . Bill was a kind man and he will be greatly missed.

I will never forget the Quickway coffee crew with Bill Coleman, Bill Briggs, My Dad (Martin Temple) and a few other old timers. What a great way to start a day! Those guys were always cutting up and pulling pranks on each other. Kept me laughing! Thanks for all of the great memories.
