I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I believe the news hit my Mom (Pat Tiffany) very hard. They were very close.

Condolences to the family of Mary Betz. We are sorry to learn of her passing. We got to know her best when she helped in the veterinary office after she retired from most everything else- but not all as she kept active in several endeavors. So sorry to hear about your mom. I always loved to run into her. She was so friendly and interested in hearing about my goings on, always upbeat. I enjoyed seeing her at the Hobart Women's Writing Festival where she volunteered. Most times, she was the only person that I knew there and she made me feel welcome and wanted! Seems like we knew each other forever but then, she was that kind of person who conveyed her caring so easily (and commiseration for being her kids' teacher!!). Much like her kids, she was a person who was such a pleasure to be around. The community will miss such a great resource.

Dear Joanne, Dave, and James......I'm so very sorry to hear the news of your Mom's passing...we remember her best serving as a helpful SKCS secretary way back in the 1980's. Some might say that she lived a good long life in an effort to ease your sadness, but the truth is, it's never easy to say goodbye to someone that you dearly love.
