Obituary of Janet Hallock
Janet M. Hallock, 85, formerly of Middleburgh and recently of Robinson Terrace in Stamford, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Born on March 18, 1933, the daughter of the late Raymond and Lavilla Kingsley.
She worked for General Electric Co. and then worked as a teacher’s aide for Schoharie Central School and retiring from Middleburgh Central School.
She was married to Glen “Chip” Hallock, he passed away in 1992.
She was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church and also attended the Valley Bible Church.
Besides her husband and parents, Janet was predeceased by her sister: Betty Jean Kingsley.
Janet is survived by her children: Paul Hallock of Oneonta, Tracey (Tom) Pearson of Lyman, SC and Robin (Steve) Haight of Prattsville; grandchildren: Dana Hallock of Delhi, Atlee and Tanner Pearson of Lyman, SC and Kayla Haight of Prattsville; one brother: Reggie (Lorraine) Kingsley of Pikeville, NC; nieces and nephew: Michael, Machelle and Marcie Kingsley.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Flat Creek Cemetery, Gilboa.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Flat Creek Baptist Church.
