Obituary of James Cullen Crosby

James Cullen Crosby, 31, of Delhi passed away suddenly on Friday evening, December 29, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Franklin.

Born on July 9, 1986 in Oneonta, the son of James R. and Donna K. (Tait) Crosby.

James was a 2006 graduate of Delaware Academy, where he attended BOCES. Later he attended SUNY Cobleskill. James was a faithful and dedicated worker at Funkatures and enjoyed woodworking.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, playing videogames and working on computers.  James was a gifted cook and enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen. Above all else, James was a true and loving son, brother, nephew and friend.

Mr. Crosby was predeceased by his father, James Crosby in 2010.

He is survived by his mother: Donna Tait Crosby of Delhi; sisters: Stephanie (Brad) Minnick of Weaverville, NC and Briana (Stephen) Keraney of Delhi; Aunts and Uncles: Danny Tait of Delhi, Dale Tait of Andes, Diane Tait of Delhi, Douglas (Yun) Tait of Dayton, OH, Darlene Tait of Oneonta and Ronald (Martie) Tait of S. Kortright; several cousins and many close friends.

A memorial and celebration of life for James took place earlier in January.
